THE DENTIST BEHIND DIGITAL DENTAL SCULPTOR SUITE
I built this because the tools I was supposed to use weren't good enough.
I'm Dr. Christopher Pescatore, and I've spent 36+ years as a cosmetic restorative dentist designing smiles with ceramics. Aesthetics — proportion, contours, shading, what makes a smile look real instead of "done" — have always come naturally to me, and I've spent decades turning that instinct into something teachable.
I've been lecturing since the 1990s. Teaching other dentists how to see what I see has been one of the most rewarding parts of my career.
But there's always been a gap. When I wanted to show a patient what their new smile could look like, the choices were ugly: a $2,500-a-year CAD subscription with libraries that looked generic, an outsourced lab fee on every case, or a cheap preview app that produced something flat and unconvincing. None of them captured what I could see in my own head.
So I built my own. I designed my tooth library — the Pescatore Tooth Library™️ — over years of careful, case-by-case refinement, calibrated for natural proportion, natural shading, and the subtle asymmetries that make a smile look like it grew there instead of being installed there. Then I built it into an add-on (the DDS Suite) for a free 3D program (Blender) so any dentist could load it, position it, and produce a printable model in minutes. I created my own in-house tools and along the way, embraced my love of design and functionality.
That's Digital Dental Sculptor Suite. It's what I use, every day, in my own practice. It's what I'm now teaching other dentists to use.
If you've spent thousands of dollars on cosmetic CE on top of dental school, and you still freeze at the case presentation because you can't show the patient what you're describing — this is the tool I wish I'd had thirty years ago.
